Lake Country Board of REALTORS®

Founded in 1966

The Lake Country Board of REALTORS® (LCBR) serves as a central hub for its members, focusing on real estate education, promoting industry professionalism, and representing REALTOR® members through legislative initiatives that benefit the real estate community. The association services the following 5 county areas: Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Morgan, and Putnam.

Throughout its history, LCBR has leveraged its influence on civic affairs, representing a significant portion of the business community across the  counties surrounding Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair. This region, dating back over 100 years, has attracted families seeking solace and refuge in the Oconee forests and the Oconee River. However, Lake Country offers much more than just the Lake Oconee area. Our charming towns, including Greensboro, Eatonton, Milledgeville, and Madison, are all situated along The Antebellum Trail, a 100-mile journey through the heart of Lake Country.

LCBR membership provides purpose, vision, and mission in promoting and protecting the real estate industry. It fosters life-long affiliations, provides an outlet for community involvement, and champions the American dream of homeownership and private property rights. Members of LCBR consistently strive for excellence, achieving greater success in both their professional and personal endeavors.
